Receiver

SKYMASTER receivers are characterised by their high-quality finish, easy-to-use menu guidance and robust software. Due to the wide range of devices and equipment, it is often difficult to choose the right receiver. Therefore, we have listed a few distinctive criteria to help you make the correct choice.

FTA = Free To Air, i.e. with this type of receiver you can only receive and watch uncoded channels.

HDTV. A HDTV receiver is required to receive TV channels in HD quality.

HD = Hard Disk = Depending on the hard disk capacity, a hard disk receiver allows you to record and watch up to 100 hours of TV.

DVB-T Digital Video Broadcast – Terrestrial. Digital TV via a normal household or roof antenna. More channels in higher quality than with an analogue antenna. HDMI. Ideal for connecting to plasma or LCD TVs, since the HDMI connection is a digital interface without conversion losses. This ensures outstanding picture quality. A combined receiver can receive TV and radio signals via satellite and DVB-T.

CI = Common Interface. Customers can equip these receivers with one or several CI-modules and corresponding keycards to receive and watch coded channels.
